Meet the women who are serving on The ForUsGirls Foundation Board of Directors for the past 10 months. Every month with the President of our organization they meet to review the activities and development of the organization to provide strategic and critical input on its direction. We are grateful for their contributions of time, skills, expertise and individual networks to strengthen and grow our work and mission.
Felicia Sangare, Vice-President Public Affairs
Researcher and Recruiter specialized in Marketing and Sales at Sirius Personnel.
Born in Ivory Coast, raised in Switzerland, matured in Canada, she can be defined as an epicurean, a sapiophile and a profound humanitarian. She dedicates herself to charities in Ivory Coast, the support of children’s education and women’s empowerment through various organizations and personal initiatives globally.
V-P Public Affairs of the ForUSGirls Foundation, member of the World Economic Forum young leader group “Global Shapers,” holding a B. Sc. in Economy & Politics and a Project Management micro-certificate; Felicia highly values the impact of accessibility, opportunities, and education on every human being.
She had successful experiences through various industries, from laws to construction, through engineering, banking and now recruitment on three continents. This exposure allows her to quickly assess the stakes at hand, to work proactively and to perform in various key business positions.
Indina Remy, Chairwoman & Legal Counsel
Originally from Haiti, Indina has been living in Montreal for almost nine years, where she currently practices as a lawyer.
After having completed her studies for most of my life in the French system, she obtained her Law degree from the University of Montreal and with the goal of having a more global profile, completed her Masters in Law at the University of California, Berkeley with two certificates of specialization, one in Business Law; and the other in Public Law and Regulation.
While studying, Indina worked in Immigration (specifically on refugee cases), Contracts and Real Estate law. After being admitted to the Quebec bar, she interned at the global real estate industry leader, Ivanhoe Cambridge, where she later worked for a few months as Legal Counsel mostly in Commercial Real Estate, Corporate and Commercial law.
Presently, Indina is an in-house Legal Counsel at Tarkett Sports, a leader in sports surfacing and a division of the global construction company, Tarkett.
Apart from commercial and corporate law, Indina has a deep sense of activism with an interest in Human Rights and Women’s Rights. Indina wishes to one day use her acquired skills to promote the betterment of her home Country.
