Young Global Leaders Mentors

Professional mentors are matched with successful Emerging Young Global Leaders accelerator participants to continue the development of their project or business design. Expert mentors will provide strategic advice and professional development coaching and introduce mentees to funding and career opportunities. Mentors can be from any industry ranging from consultants and mid-level management to executive C-suite level. (Post-Accelerator Cohort)

Program mentors are welcome to support the delivery of the accelerator individual sessions. They provide individual mentoring for participants in designing their projects and business ideas. Professionals and community members can apply to support selected sessions or the entire duration of the accelerator. Programs mentors provide support for 2.5 hrs for each session. (During the Accelerator Cohort)

Mentors can provide a three or 6-month commitment to their matched mentee. Mentors must connect with their mentees once a month for the duration of the mentorship virtually. Mentors and mentees are a match based on the expressed desires and needs of the mentees' project or business objectives and career aspirations. , mentor and mentees complete a mentorship agreement (expectation outline) to monitor and evaluate the mentorship process adequately. Interested professional mentors are invited to complete the Emerging Young Global Leaders Mentorship Application form. After completing the application form, interested mentors will receive a confirmation and interview request to proceed with their application. Within 14 days of the mentorship interview, interested mentors will be matched with a young leader. All initial communications until the YGL Mentorship Program agreement are signed will be coordinated by the YGL Programs team.
