The ForUsGirls Foundation
The ForUsGirls Foundation is a Black feminist Canadian social purpose organization providing innovative skills & leadership development programs & opportunities for underserved & underrepresented young womxn & girls aged 10-25. We develop unique, fierce, and daring young women, girls, and gender-diverse youth into a community & global GoalKeepers of the UN 17 Global Goals. We inspire, engage, and empower young leaders and aspiring professionals with job-ready skills and confidence to achieve their dreams and fulfill their highest potential. We are a feminist, inclusive, social justice organization. We empower young women and gender-diverse youth to champion change in their communities & the world.
Since 2015 we've impacted the lives of over 5,500 young women and girls in North America. Donations and corporate sponsorship sustain our work. Donate today to support local leadership development for Black, racialized, and Indigenous young women and girls.
Every womxn and girl has the potential to create effective community and global change. They just need the confidence and self-esteem boost to believe in themselves. We develop emotionally strong, empathetic and balanced leaders.
Marginalized populations have economic opportunities to create wealth for their families & communities through entrepreneurship. We train our young leaders the value and impact of entrepreneurship for social good.
Millennials & Generation Z are techy-savvy and focused on fast & high-tech technology. They will need data, coding and information management skills to prepare and succeed in the future of work. Our programs integrate advanced tech exposure and training.
We are developing the self-esteem, confidence and emotional intelligence of young womxn and girls.
We are training young womxn and girls as web developers, designers and computer programmers.
We are empowering innovators with our 7-week professional development & entrepreneurship training accelerator.
Supporting quality education for girls in rural communities to dream big.
Empowering the next generation of leaders to lead now.
